COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Dozens of people turned out on Saturday for Columbus' LGBT Colgay Pride Festival.
Several vendors, community leaders, the NAACP and other organizations came out to show their support for the LGBT community.
The event's purpose was to educate the public on overcoming discrimination and prejudice in any form.
They also want to show their commitment to equality for everyone. There were over 400 people in attendance and they also held a LGBT pride march with 75 people in attendance.
This is the second year the group has held this event.
