LAGRANGE, GA (WTVM) -

LaGrange Police want to talk to two people who they believe may have information on a fire that broke out Thursday night at the Super 8 Motel on Patillo Road.

The LaGrange Fire Department responded to the fire at 7 p.m. Thursday. Fire officials say after the fire was put out, the LaGrange Police department was called in to investigate. The cause of the fire is unknown, but the area of origin of the fire is suspicious in nature.

The people who were checked in to the room where the fire started were not in the room at the time of the incident. They have been identified as Patrick Anderson and Amber Cummings of Nicholis, Georgia. Police officials would like to speak with Anderson and Cummings about what may have started the fire.

If you have any information on this fire or the whereabouts of Anderson or Cummings you should call LaGrange Police at (706) 883-2620.
