Plane makes emergency landing on Columbus golf course

A two-passenger airplane made an emergency landing on a Columbus golf course this afternoon

The Federal Aviation Administration now says they have examined the airplane and everything is current and up to date.
Officials say people on the course helped move the plane after the landing.
The plane landed around 2 p.m. on the Columbus Country Club golf course during the Southeast Amateur Golf Tournament.

Witness, Hunter O'Mahony says, Well we just heard it. He must have just run out of power because we didn't even hear it. 500 miles up hill we got up here and there was a big scene, to be honest, we didn't even hear it.
Officials also plan to check when the last maintenance was performed on the plane.
