3 things to know from News Leader 9 - Monday, June 22

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Here are the top three stories you need to know from the News Leader 9 web desk:

1. Two people suspected of shooting and killing a Columbus man Friday night are heading to court Monday morning. Police say Montrell Foxworth, 30, and Takisha Lee, 28, are accused of shooting DeCartes Baldwin, 34, outside of the Cusseta Package store in Columbus on June 19.

2. Eufaula Police say 43-year-old Reginald Coley is accused of shooting brothers Marvin and Michael Marshall Sunday afternoon at his house on Deerfield Drive. Michael died and Marvin is being treated for injuries at an Eufaula hospital.

Coley is charged with murder.

3. The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, or SACS, issues warnings to Alabama State University and Tuskegee University. The schools maintain their accreditation, but the warning status means a review has found "significant non-compliance" with SACS requirements.
