COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Students across the Valley got the chance to cash in.
Local families joined together at the Columbus Library on Saturday afternoon to learn about saving and investing money.
The workshop was actually geared towards the youth. The two guest speakers about the impact of today's lesson.
"What I had the opportunity to do was reach out to the parents and the children about long-term savings," said speaker Jacinta Ingersoll-Devoes.
Speaker Tasha Toney said her speech was about teaching families how to budget and prepare for the future.
The event was put on by Crayons, Crafts and Kool Kids - an organization dedicated to provide an environment where kids can express themselves creatively.
