Springford May Soon Return to Alabama

The man accused of killing his parents, stealing their car, then fleeing  to colorado could be back in Montgomery soon.

Montgomery Mayor Bobby Bright says Brent Springford Junior's extradition deadline is just  nine days away.

Springford faces capital murder charges in the gruesome Thanksgiving weekend crime.

Bright says the nature of the crime may warrant special attention but Springford won't recieve any special treatment.

The Springford's were well respected in the area. They owned and operated the Luverne Pepsi Bottling Company and were well known for giving back to the Crenshaw County community.

Police found their bodies in their Montgomery Garden District home the day after Thanksgiving... apparently beaten to death.
