St. Luke holds God Bless America Parade

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - St. Luke held a God Bless America parade Thursday morning to recognize local heroes including law enforcement, firefighters and the military.

The kids are between the ages of 18 months to 5 years old and they made special treats for local heroes. They also made their own red, white and blue outfits to celebrate America.
The parade started after 9-11 to celebrate our freedom.

"It's a great family even my and we hope that any of our veterans or law enforcement officers. Firefighters who see it know how much we appreciate all that they do for the community and for our country as well," Judy Heider said, Director of St. Luke.

The parade was led by none other than Uncle Sam!
