VALLEY, AL (WTVM) - The Valley Police Department has identified one of the two suspects involved in Thursday's bank robbery. 

Police have identified the male suspect as 33-year-old Russell Alan Lashley, Jr. He is approximately 5'8" tall, weighs 155 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Valley police have issued warrants for his arrest, and he will be charged with first degree robbery and second degree theft of property. Officials say he should be considered armed and dangerous. 

Police are still working to identify the female suspect in the passenger seat of the vehicle Lashley was driving during the incident. 
The bank robbery took place on Thursday, July 2 just before 3:30 p.m. EST at the Heritage Bank located on 20th Avenue in Valley, Ala.

Witnesses stated Lashley and the unidentified white female with long, dark, stringy hair drove through the bank's drive through lane in a black, four door Lexus.

Lashley passed a note to the teller announcing a robbery. The teller complied with the suspects and passed them an undisclosed amount of currency.

The suspects then left the bank property and were last seen traveling north on 20th Avenue headed towards I-85/Lanett.

No weapons were displayed, and there were no injuries.
