COLUMBIA, SC (WTVM) - South Carolina Nikki Haley is prepared to sign a bill, passed early Thursday morning by the South Carolina State House, that will remove the Confederate flag from the state's Capitol grounds.
The move comes three weeks after confessed shooter Dylann Roof shot 12 people, killing three, at a historically-black church in Charleston, SC.
Following the shooting, Gov. Haley said that the flag would be removed, pending the state's houses passing legislation to do so.
