COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Bike riding enthusiasts in the Fountain City, listen up!
A proposed bike trail could soon connect the Fall Line Trace to the city's RiverWalk
The River Link Trail System proposal is the product of a partnership between Friends of the Greenway Trail Fund and the city of Columbus, along with the non-profit P.A.T.H organization, which has built more than 230 miles of off-road trail networks in and around Georgia.
The so-called trail system will offer 12 trail links and 27.5 miles total of trails through the city of Columbus.
The cost of building the trail has yet to be determined and is estimated to take about five years.
