AUBURN, AL (WTVM) – The Auburn Police Division's narcotics unit arrested four individuals on conspiracy to commit a controlled substance crime.

These arrests are a result of a cooperative investigation between the Auburn Police Division and the Opelika Police Department.

The suspects were identified while attempting to present forged prescriptions for controlled narcotics at various pharmacies in Auburn and Opelika.

They were contacted in the vicinity of the Publix and CVS pharmacies on Moore's Mill Road in Auburn, and they were taken into custody.

The following suspects were taken into custody:

  • Carlos Brandon, 25, from Atlanta, GA
  • Khadijah Masika Colquitt, 23, from Atlanta, GA
  • Christopher Dante Smith, 26, from Atlanta, GA
  • Fredrico Tiquan Brown, 23, from Macon County, AL

They were all taken to the Lee County Detention Center and they will each be eligible for a $9,000 bond.
