Police investigate after man hit by vehicle dies

PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) -

The Phenix City Police Department is investigating a man’s death after he was hit by a vehicle over the weekend.  

Police and EMS personnel responded to 2804 3rd Avenue on July 19 at approximately 7:48 p.m. in reference to a man hit by a vehicle. 

The man, later identified as 51-year-old Barry Noel Argo, was later pronounced dead by the Deputy Coroner of Russell Count. 

The victim’s body was sent to Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy. 

The death investigation is being conducted by Criminal Investigation Division of the Phenix City Police Department.
