OPD investigating Target counterfeit check fraud complaint

OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) – The Opelika Police Department are investigating a counterfeit check complaint that happened at a business.

The victim told police that a counterfeit check was used at Target in Opelika, AL, to make a purchase on July 6. The suspects are described as two black women who were seen in surveillance footage leaving the store.

No other descriptions of the suspects or their names are known at this time.
