Local Movie Patrons Speak Out

The tragic theater shooting in Lafayette, Louisiana is hitting too close to home for many people. Some movie goers Fox 54 talked to Friday night in Columbus say there needs to be an increase in security at movie theaters and many other public places.

In light of Thursday’s shooting in Louisiana and the movie theater shooting in Colorado in 2012 some people say we shouldn't let these isolated incidents cause us to "live in fear."

"Even though I'm at the movie theater today I had second thoughts of a coming to the movie theater tonight", says movie goer, Robert Rozala.
"We should be able to go enjoy the movie with the family without having to worry about these kinds of incidents", says movie patron Eric Price.

All of the movie goers Fox 54 spoke with said, they did think about the shootings when deciding to check out a movie but said they wouldn't let it keep them home.
