COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – A Columbus man was shot early Sunday and is currently hospitalized in unsatisfactory condition.
The 31-year-old man was shot in the stomach shortly after 3 a.m. around 24th Street and 14th Avenue, according to a CPD incident report.
A suspect is unknown at this time, but witnesses say the shooter was driving a Chevrolet of unknown make and model. The report lists a partial Georgia license plate of 8229 and that the car was grey or silver in color.
The Columbus Police Department are currently investigating this crime as an aggravated assault.
