This Week's Most Wanted: Keith Turner's murderer

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - It's been nearly three weeks since the body of a Columbus man was found shot to death inside his car on Interstate 185.

It was during the early morning hours on July 11 when police were called in to a shooting on I-185 in Columbus.

"On I-185 Northbound just before the Cusseta Road overpass police were called to the scene of a shooting victim," said Officer Paul Moody with the Columbus Police Department. "Upon arrival police discovered Keith Turner had suffered gunshot wounds."

Keith Turner was pronounced dead on the scene shortly after 4 a.m. by the Deputy Coroner.

According to Officer Moody, at this time police have no clues as to what led to the deadly shooting of Turner, nor do they have any witnesses who could shed some light on what they saw that morning in the northbound lanes of the interstate.

If you saw anything that could help police solve this crime you are asked to come forward with any information you could offer.

"Even if it's a small piece of information a little detail, anything that you saw, heard, witnessed would be a very, very big help to us," Officer Moody said.
