COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus and the Chattahoochee Valley lost a radio voice from the past on July 30.
Longtime announcer Bill Bowick died early Thursday morning at St. Francis Hospital. He was 91.
Bowick first hit the air in his hometown of Albany back in 1947. He came to Columbus eight years later and was still on the air in the early 90s.
Bill was inducted into the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame in 2008. Click here to learn more about his career.
