COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The Keep Columbus Beautiful Commission along with Aflac and Amerigroup sponsored a Back to School Teacher Supply Project.
"Just about every grade needs binders so they are getting a lot of binders. Hanging file folders they are getting a lot of those along with writing utensils," Pamela Brown said, an Aflac employee.
This event was on Tuesday, Aug. 4 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Columbus Consolidated Government Citizen Service Center, located at 3111 Citizen Way.
All teachers were welcome to stop by and pick up free supplies. The first 36 teacher received a reusable KCBC shopping bag filled with great supplies!
