COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The trial of a man accused in the 2012 murder of a Columbus cab driver resumes Wednesday.
The jury has been selected in the trial of Sandy Mitchell.
Mitchell is accused of killing 59-year-old Byron Brown.
Police say Brown was found in his Yellow Cab van at the intersection of Shelby Street and Munson Drive with a single gunshot wound to his head. Mitchell was later taken into custody at Fort Benning when someone recognized him as a suspect.
The trial will continue this morning at 11.
