PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) – On Monday, Aug. 10 Lee County Deputies responded to a residence in the 200 block of Lee Road 597 in Phenix City, AL regarding an eviction notice.
Once the deputies arrived, they were informed of a possible methamphetamine lab inside the residence.
A search of the residence revealed multiple methamphetamine labs were inside the home.
Daniel Malcom Gillis Jr. of Phenix City was arrested and charged with manufacturing a controlled substance in the first-degree and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Gillis was booked into the Lee County Detention Facility on a bond $33,000 bond.
