COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A man is now charged in the death of a man who died over the Fourth of July holiday in Columbus.
Joseph Kimble was arrested Tuesday in connection to the murder of Blake Berry.
Kimble waived his preliminary hearing in court Wednesday morning.
He is being charged with involuntary manslaughter, tampering with evidence, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and giving false statements.
Berry was shot on July 4 and died that same day during emergency treatment at Midtown Medical Center.
