Some Columbus residents are upset about the proposed building of new houses within feet of their homes. The area of concern is in a subdivision near Billings Road and Warm Springs Road.
Not only are they upset about the new homes destroying the beauty of the area but also about the added traffic. But the developer, Ben Billings says his family has owned and paid property taxes on the land for decades and that this is the best option and says something is going to be built there whether it’s the proposed new single family homes or a commercial shopping center.
Columbus City Council is set to vote on this matter in two weeks.
