CHAMBERS COUNTY, AL (WTVM) – Three teens have been arrested and charged with allegedly burglarizing a church in Chambers County, according to law enforcement.
The Chambers County Sheriff's Office said that on July 29, they received a report that the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church on County Road 176 has been victim to a burglary, criminal mischief and property theft, resulting in $25,000 worth of interior and building damage.
The investigation led to the arrest of three teenagers on Aug. 25: Anna Lauderdale, 18, of Lafayette, AL, Hayley Bassett, 18, of Lanett, AL, and a 16-year-old juvenile. All three were charged with third-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief and third-degree property damage.
