4 arrested following narcotics investigation in Eufaula

EUFAULA, AL (WTVM) – In response to numerous complaints within the community concerning illegal narcotics, an investigation uncovered the possible key criminal participants and locations on Fairlane Drive in Eufaula.

On Thursday, the Federal Task Force Officers along with the Eufaula Police Department served search and arrest warrants obtained by the investigation.

Kelsey Feagins, 32, Quintin Peterson, 27, and Tyrone Screws, 40, were all charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of marijuana in the first-degree and possession of drug paraphernalia. Derrick Britt, 41, was charged with possession of marijuana in the second-degree and the distribution of a controlled substance.

Also, the search warrants resulted in the recovery of evidence of a criminal enterprise based on narcotics activity.

More arrests are anticipated as this investigation continues.

The incident occurred in Funchess hall at Auburn.  A hazardous chemical was reportedly poured down the drain during the cleanup process in one of the rooms being cleaned.
