PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) - The Phenix City Board of Education approved a budget for the 2016 fiscal year at the board meeting on Thursday.
A nearly $73 million spending plan was presented to the board for approval.
Funds will go toward the STEM Center, the iPad initiative for six through twelve, and the addition to Central High School.
September 15 is the deadline for the original 2016 fiscal year budget to be presented to the Alabama State Department of Education.
The 2016 fiscal year 2016 starts October 1.
