COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Every year, more than 16,000 kids are diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. Saint Jude's Hospital says one in every five children diagnosed with cancer dies.
However, there are several resources for cancer fighters including nonprofit organizations.
On Saturday, Sept.19 from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. an organization called Scarlett's Closet will be holding an event to raise money for cancer patients.
This event is partnering with the Ronald McDonald House and there will be raffles and other fun challenges.
Any donation is appreciated, but $100 will get you in the back of a t-shirt.
