Paul Stockman - WTVM.com-Columbus, GA News Weather & Sports

Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter

Paul Stockman

Paul joined the WTVM sports team in August 2015. He comes to Columbus after spending the previous four years at WTVY in Dothan, AL.

From July 2011 to March 2013, he was the news/sports reporter, the first hybrid reporter for the station. In March 2013, he transitioned to the Weekday Morning News Anchor/Producer, and stayed at that position until July 2015.

Before he got into broadcasting, Paul attended Auburn University from 2007 to 2011 where he majored in Radio/TV/Film with a focus on Broadcast Journalism. The highlight of his time there was when he covered the 2010 Auburn Tigers National Championship team.

Sports has always been Paul’s passion. Since he was a kid, he was always playing, watching or talking about sports. He finds time to play tennis or kickbox when he can. Outside of sports, he enjoys reading, playing video games, spending time with friends and family, and isn’t afraid to admit he’s a pro-wrestling fan.

Paul was born in 1988 in Monroeville, AL, a city best known as the setting for To Kill a Mockingbird. He moved to Cumming, GA in 2001 and his family still lives in that area.
