NL9's Janell Lewis honored in Columbus and the Valley Magazine

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – News Leader 9 is committed to being active and involved in the community, as well as supporting our local businesses.

The Assistant News Director of WTVM, Janell Lewis, has been named a top five under 40 in the Columbus and the Valley magazine.

Lewis is being recognized, along with the owner of PTAP, the president of A-COM, an executive Vice President with the Columbus Chamber and a representative of Congressman Westmoreland's camp.

The honor recognizes outstanding young professionals who contribute to the Chattahoochee Valley through family, business, faith and community service.

This summer, Lewis was also awarded with the Courier-Eco Latino Community Service Award and featured in that newspaper as a Young Professional on the Move.

The incident occurred in Funchess hall at Auburn.  A hazardous chemical was reportedly poured down the drain during the cleanup process in one of the rooms being cleaned. The chemical did not go all the way down the drain and caused an odor in the building.  One person inside the building reported lightheadedness as a result of the fumes and i...
