A worker at the Kia plant in West Point, Georgia was taken to the hospital Wednesday with unknown injuries following an apparent accident.
Wednesday's accident comes nearly one year after another worker was killed in a workplace accident at the same Kia plant.
57 year-old John Edd Dunnivant of Lanett was crushed to death by a stamping machine- inside the automotive factory last October.
Kia released a statement Wednesday morning saying in part they are "committed to workplace safety" and saying a worker was transported to the hospital with a "possible injury."
No word on what caused the accident.
