COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – An Autism Walk and Family Day took place on Saturday and it was all about bringing local families together who are affected by autism.
The walk also provided individuals day to remember including a one-mile walk, activities, arts and crafts and food.
"I would wear myself out going to trainings and everywhere trying to get information, but this would get you to know different people, different moms, different dad's, it's wonderful, and the vendors are people who can help you also," Annie Davis said, a participant of the Autism Walk.
The event was held at North Highland Community Church. For more information about the Autism Hope Center please click here.
