COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The CV Pride Community Center held 17th annual Pride festival on Saturday.
The center has been operating on private donations to cover the cost of its many programs and activities which directly assist the LGBT homeless community. It also provides food, clothing and a place to socialize.
"We're completely running on donors and fundraisers right now, we have no grant money coming in, and we're having a really hard time keeping up and staying up with just that funding right now and a lack of support from the overall community around the area," Joshua Wheat said, the CV Center Director.
There was food, music, games and entertainment at the Pride Festival.
