Columbus company expands, adds 100 jobs

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A Columbus company is growing and hiring 100 new employees in the process. Path-Tec announced Monday that they are expanding their operations into a 126,000 square foot plant left vacant earlier this year by the closure of the Litho-Krome printing operation of greeting card company Hallmark.

The facility is located on Old Brim Road in the Muscogee Technology Park.

Path-Tec, which calls itself the specimen management experts, currently employs 100 people at its existing facility on Belfast Avenue.  The 100 new jobs are expected to be added over the next few years.

Path-Tec offers client support solutions including supply and kit management, inventory management, specimen and supply logistics and client management technology. The company has been operating in Columbus since 2005 and was recently recognized as one of the 5,000 fastest growing companies in the country by Inc. Magazine.
