COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Goodwill kicked off their Hispanic Week with a job fair on Monday, Oct. 5.
Hispanic Week is being held as a way to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month.
The job fair was held specifically for employers looking for bilingual employees in the area.
A few of the employers who attended were Valley Hospitality, Cricket Wireless and Lowes.
"Here at goodwill we celebrate all cultures, all diversities but we also recognize that the population is growing in this area for Hispanics and we understand that there are unique needs that they may need to fill when it comes to completing a resume or even improving their English and making sure that they understand what employers are looking for," Bridgette Russell said, Goodwill Communication Specialist.
This is the second year that Goodwill has hosted the fair.
