1 killed, 2 injured in shooting outside Columbus sports bar

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Police say one person was killed and two others injured in a shooting around 11:45 p.m. on Friday at the 4th Quarter Sports Bar and Grill, located on Macon Road.

Deputy Coroner Charles Newton confirms Dominic Mitchell, 33, died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds.

He was pronounced dead at the Medical Center. His body will be sent to the GBI Crime Lab in Atlanta for Autopsy on Tuesday.

The two people injured were taken to different hospitals and their conditions are unknown at this time.
