Columbus participates in scavenger hunt for grown ups

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

It was a wild goose chase in Uptown Columbus as adults went on a scavenger hunt.

They took over the area, navigating through courtyards and mystery locations with the goal of finding the most golden eggs.

Clues came in different forms like trivia, puzzles and team challenges.

Prizes included a night at the Downtown Marriott, whitewater rafting, bike rentals and zip lining passes. There were also prizes for best costume and best team name.

“It's a great way to get different age groups involved, it's for the athletic people, it's for the craft beer lover, it's a little bit of everybody,” said Rebecca Zajac, VP of Marketing and Relations. “We have a wide range of ages and diversity that's representative of what's here in Uptown."

The event was put on by the Goose Island Beer Company.
