Former Phenix City Superintendent runs for congressional seat

Former Phenix City Schools Superintendent, Larry DiChiara has gone from leading schools to challenging a state leader for his U.S. Congressional seat.

DiChiara announced Thursday he will challenge incumbent Mike Rogers for his third district congressional seat following the March 1st primary election in 2016.

DiChiara, who currently owns a small business and lives in Auburn, is focusing his campaign on pro life, traditional values, border security, lowering taxes and protection of the Second Amendment.
