Leisure Lifestyles goes pink for breast cancer awareness

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Leisure Lifestyles in Columbus has gone pink for breast cancer awareness month.

If you stop by the store known for it hot tubs you will notice all employees wearing pink shirts.

On Saturday, the store donated $100 for every woman who signs up for a cancer screening.

When customers donate money they get to pop a pink balloon and win the prize inside.

"Leisure Lifestyles during the month of October we went pink, we have pink monarch in here today, Saturday the 17th, to kind of educate the public on breast cancer and how to prevent it," said operations manager Jason Stewart.

"A lot of women are nervous and have very many reasons to not want to get a mammogram, our staff is highly train to personalize your breast imaging experience to make it as least stressed as possible," said Jessica Curley, Pink Monarch office manager.

Leisure Lifestyles will donate a portion of the proceeds from sales to the Pink Monarch Breast Care Center in Columbus.

Pink Monarch helps women by cutting medical fees and taking lower co-pays for those in need.
