COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Muscogee County School District officials have confirmed that a high school student was killed during a traffic accident last weekend.
Officials confirmed that Natalie Pegram, 17, was killed in an accident in the early hours of Oct. 17 in Fayetteville, TN.
The accident involved four people, including Pegram. It was a one-car accident involving a Toyota Camry. Police say the car left the roadway and struck a wall.
James Riviera from Roswell, GA was driving and has non-life threatening injuries. Bradley Katie Hollis was a passenger from Lawrenceburg, TN and has non-life threatening injuries.
Amy Kiel of Lawrenceville, GA, also died in the accident.
Police say no drugs or alcohol was found at the scene. The investigation is still underway to determine a cause of the accident.
THE MCSD sends their condolences to the Pegram family as well as Natalie's classmates and other family members.
Natalie was a senior at Northside High and served as the president of the Japanese club, the school choir and loved learning new languages and cosplay. Counseling and other resources have been made available to students at NHS.
She is survived by her parents and step-parents, five siblings and extended family. Funeral services for Natalie will be held in Hillsboro, OH on Oct. 22, according to her obituary.
