CPD Financial Crimes Unit seeks credit card theft 'person of interest'

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The Columbus Police Department's Financial Crimes Unit needs your help in identifying the subject they've described as a person of interest in a recent crime.

The crime took place on Oct. 10 at 6110 Warm Springs Road. The person of interest is wanted in connection with various car break-in's that led to personal items being stolen, including a woman's debit card, according to Detective D. Grant with CPD. 

The unknown man is being called a person of interest in a vehicle break-in and the subsequent use of a stolen credit card at a local Circle K gas station.

Detective Grant also says that several names have been offered through Facebook and they are currently trying to make a positive match on the person shown in surveillance footage.
