AUBURN, AL (WTVM) - The Auburn University community is taking a virtual trip to the Far East this week as they celebrate Korean culture.
The third annual Korea Festival is highlighting the food, art, music and performance traditions of South Korea.
So far, the festival appears to be a hit with the community.
"First impression of auburn is nice and pleasant and they appreciate the help," said Korean artist Doyeon Pyon.
"We think it's really important that rather than those communities separating themselves, we all learn from each other, we mix together and we help understand a culture that might be a little bit different," said Jennifer Mason with Auburn University.
On Friday, October 23 the art exhibit will be on display at Foy Hall from 12 until 4 p.m., and at 6 p.m. there will be a free Korean fashion show in Goodwin Hall.
