Liquor and business license revoked from Club Luxxx

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Club Luxxx has officially been stripped away from their business and liquor license, which was announced during the Columbus City Council meeting on Tuesday.

Chief Ricky Boren recommended that the Columbus City Council strip the alcohol license for Club Luxxx following several recent shootings at the club on Victory Drive.

In September, Columbus police responded to a shooting at the night club where at least 20 shell casings were recovered from what police say appeared to be two separate weapons. A man in his 20’s was injured in the shooting.

Two weeks earlier, officers responded to another shooting where authorities say three people were shot at the club.
