APD investigating massive burglary and theft case

AUBURN, AL (WTVM) - Auburn Police Chief Paul Register confirms that investigators are on the scene of an Auburn man's home investigating a massive burglary and theft case.

The Auburn Police Department is serving a search warrant at the residence of 44-year-old Adam Floyd in the White Oak subdivision in Auburn. A second search also took place at Mr. Floyd's business known as Unique Image, a car wash business.

Chief Register says that Mr. Floyd was arrested and has been charged with burglary and theft. He faces additional charges in what investigators are calling an extensive and massive burglary ring.

Police have recovered construction supplies and equipment, appliances, electronics, cabinetry and other items. Chief Register says the value has yet to be determined, but investigators have discovered a significant amount of alleged stolen property at his home and business.

Right now, investigators are on the scene of his home in Auburn loading up trucks with boxes and materials.
