Chattahoochee Co. traffic stop leads to drug bust

CHATTAHOOCHEE COUNTY, GA (WTVM) –  The Chattahoochee County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man on drug charges following a traffic stop Monday.

According to police, 27-year-old Frederick E. Marshall of Vernon, FL was pulled over by narcotics deputies on GA Hwy. 1 in Cusseta for an equipment violation, but when deputies searched the vehicle they found drugs.

Marshall was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine, GHB (a common date rape drug), and three counts of possession of a drug related object. Deputies seized the vehicle and $200.
