Fellow Christian Athletes to host 'Fields of Faith' event at Brookstone High School

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – People from Harris County and Muscogee County will get together for a program started by Fellow Christian Athletes on Wednesday.

The event is called Fields of Faith, and the purpose is to allow the community to come together with mutual beliefs. These events are held in more than 30 states and more than 170,000 people have participated.

Alexander Allen, who is a member of the FCA group at Shaw School, will be the speaker for the event.

“I hope my story inspires others to believe in the power of Christ and to show that there is always a brighter future,” Allen says.

There will also be special music featuring Marvin Mumford.

Fields of Faith will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 4 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Brookstone High School football field, located at 440 Bradley Park Drive.

Free Chick-fil-A sandwiches will be given to the first 100 people to arrive, but there will be hot dogs and drinks given out for all others.
