ATHENS, GA (CBS46) -

Two University of Georgia football players have been suspended from Saturday's game against Kentucky due to their arrests early Wednesday morning.

Freshman football players Natrez Patrick and Chauncey Rivers were arrested on misdemeanor possession of marijuana charges. The two were arrested after an officer caught them sitting in a vehicle parked in the East Campus Village parking deck.

Patrick, an inside linebacker, graduated from Mays High School in Atlanta. Rivers, a defensive end, graduated from Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain.

"They made a very poor decision and I'm extremely disappointed," said head football coach Mark Richt.
