Phenix City teen accused in hit-and-run death to appear in court Thursday

PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) – The Phenix City teen accused of hitting and killing a man in April is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday, Nov. 12.

Josh Gorman was originally scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday, Nov. 10 but it was pushed back.

Gorman is accused of killing 31-year-old Nathan Wombles in a hit-and-run on Bonanza Drive on Sunday, April 26.

Gorman is facing two counts of murder, but his attorneys are asking that he be tried as a youthful offender.

If convicted, the teen could face between 10 years and life in prison.
