Georgia's Governor says "no" to Syrian refugees

Georgia Governor, Nathan Deal says the state will not accept Syrian refugees.

He's joining leaders of other states who have made similar statements.

Governor Deal issued an executive order today directing state officials to prevent the resettlement of Syrian refugees in Georgia.

Deal said he took the step "in light of" Friday's terrorist attacks in Paris.

So far, at least 24 governors say their states will not accept refugees from Syria.

Governor deal is calling on President Obama to suspend the resettlement program which the president defends.
