Les Miles was still the LSU coach Wednesday night, although sources continue to tell WAFB it's only a matter of days before a change is made.

Wednesday night was a time to ask the question everyone was wondering the answer to.

Despite all the rumors stirring about embattled LSU head coach Les Miles being fired soon, he still held his weekly meeting with the press Wednesday night.

Jacques: "Coach, is this your last game here?"
Miles: "I have no idea. I would love to think there's another 11 years. I've loved them so much."
Jacques: "So to this point, you haven't heard this is your last game?"
Miles: "I promise you, that's a question I would've answered honestly."

The LSU players are much like children caught in the middle of an pending divorce.

"Certainly we've dealt with distractions before, but it appears to be a very prevalent and evident distraction," said Miles.

Fans gathered at T.J. Ribs to support Coach Miles at his weekly radio. It could be his last one and things indeed got emotional.

Sadie, who typically calls from Denton, Texas each week, broke down a bit, while LSU super fan "The Big Ragoo" also got choked up some.

Even Miles' biggest skeptics have to admit the coach has handled the matter with total class. And while many believe this is a deficit the coach can't rally from, the official word hasn't come from athletic director Joe Alleva yet.

LSU (7-3) is currently unranked and will host the Texas A&M Aggies Saturday night in Tiger Stadium.
