COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - With Thanksgiving coming to a close, several Christmas tree shops around the Valley are preparing for the shopping rush.
Mark's Christmas Trees and Dave's Tree Farm are a few of the shops we caught up with that already have their trees set up.
Both of the lots have trees ranging from $30 to $100.
Managers at the lots say some didn't wait for Thanksgiving to start before purchasing their trees.
"We got about 40 people to come in so far and we're expecting more people on Thanksgiving," says Cameron Griffin with Dave's Tree Farm.
He also says it's a good idea to know how big of a tree you want while shopping, so it will be easy to load into your car.
Mark's Christmas Trees will be open from noon until 9 p.m. and Dave's Tree Farm is open from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. until 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
