(WTVM) – The Night of Lights will begin Thursday night at the Phenix City Amphitheater, located on the banks of the Chattahoochee River.
This holiday event starts at 7 p.m. EST and will include a stage production to include live music, a visit from Santa, and a fireworks display over the Chattahoochee River.
Admission is free and includes free hot chocolate for children.
After the show, guests are encouraged to enjoy the Christmas lights on Broad Street with family and friends.
Phenix City Parks and Recreation will host their fireworks show from 7:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
The Columbus Riverwalk and Dillingham Street Bridge near Front Ave. will also be temporarily closed for approximately an hour.
On Tuesday, Dec. 1 TSYS held a fireworks show of their own along the RiverWalk.
